Eight Brookfield Deed Transfers Recorded as Just Three Sales Disclose Price
Eight properties in Brookfield recorded deed transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, according to Worcester County Registry of Deeds data, but only three sales disclosed a price. Disclosed prices ranged from $35,000 for 5 Forrest St. to $358,388 for a July 28 transfer recorded without a street address; the median of the three disclosed prices was $189,000. The second-highest disclosed sale, $189,000 for 14 Pleasant St., listed Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. and Wells Fargo Bank NA as buyers. Five of the eight transfers, including sales on Gay Road, Prospect Street and Old Town Road, did not disclose a price, limiting visibility into the month's overall price trend.
