Brookfield home sales light on disclosed prices as bank and trust transfers dominate August recordings
Ten property transfers were recorded in Brookfield between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only one, the Aug. 27 sale of 9 Green St. for $401,906, disclosed a sale price, leaving that figure as both the period's high and its median. Town Farm Road and Allen Road each saw two transfers. Six of the 10 filings involved a bank, mortgage servicer or Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. as buyer or seller, and four listed matching surnames between parties, consistent with family or trust transfers. With price data available for just one of 10 sales, the deed records do not support broader conclusions about Brookfield's market direction this period.
